Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our fully remote team. This role will focus on securing networks, web applications, and APIs, conducting security assessments, and implementing best practices to safeguard critical systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct tests and identify vulnerabilities across systems, applications, and APIs.
• Web & API Security: Assess and secure web applications and APIs from common security risks (e.g., OWASP Top 10, SQL Injection, XSS).
• Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, minimizing damage and recommending improvements.
• Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security frameworks for applications and network infrastructures.
• Collaboration: Work with development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Security Awareness & Training: Educate teams on secure coding practices and threat mitigation strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor systems to ensure the latest security patches are applied and systems remain secure.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field. Equivalent experience is also considered.
• Experience: 2-3+ years in cybersecurity, specializing in network, web, and API security.
• Skills: Proficient with tools like Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit, and cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Tools & Methodologies : Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, NIST frameworks, DevSecOps practices, and SIEM tools.
• Certifications (Nice to Have): CEH, CISSP, or similar security certifications.
• Communication Skills: Must have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and international clients.
